PAPERCITY ADVERTORIAL I f there's one thing we know in Dallas, it's our tequila. This is the home of the Margarita Mile, stretching from blanco to añejo. The spirit is in our blood. So, it's only fitting that last year, Scott Everett, CEO of S2 Capital, launched Osadía Tequila here in his hometown. To celebrate, Osadía Tequila hosted a party that put a night in Vegas to shame, designed by Morgan Nussbaum's Mo&Co. The Design District's 7 For Parties venue was transformed into an Osadía nightclub, with lighting shifting from room to room in tribute to either Osadía Añejo or Osadía Blanco. Cocktails included the Dallas Classic (ranch water with Osadía Blanco, Topo Chico, lime, and a Tajin rim), the Repo-Soda (Osadía Reposado, Topo Chico, and an orange slice), and the Sweat Equity (Osadía Reposado, Triple Sec, blood orange, tamarind, lime and salt), among others. And what to temper the cocktails but American Mexican fusion bites: tiny beef chimichangas, mini chicken and waffle skewers, mini lobster tacos with lime wedges, and ahi tuna tartare on a wonton crisp with wasabi crème fraiche, catered by Wendy Krispin. Lucye Marlin aka DJ Lucye Lou, kicked off the night, followed WHEN THE SPIRIT AERIALISTS AND CARNIVAL GAMES, ELEVATED DANCE FLOOR AND VIP BOTTLE SERVICE … A NIGHT IN THE LIFE OF OSADÍA TEQUILA'S EPIC LAUNCH IN THE DALLAS DESIGN DISTRICT by the event headliner, Vegas resident DJ MADDS. Dancing ensued on the stunning elevated dance floor surrounded by VIP lounges with high-roller bottle service and an immersive art installation. Some of the most Instagrammable moments were the retro tequila van that served frozen margaritas; a five-foot Osadía bottle on a pedestal; an old-school Osadía claw machine for a chance to win prizes; Osadía vending machines; a silver aerialist dangling from the ceiling while pouring champagne; and a roaming face painter who mimicked what one might see at a Mykonos beach club. Let's just say that the next time Osadía throws a party, don't miss it. In the crowd: Brittney Stracener Everett, wife of Scott Everett, and Austin and Morgan Azurdia, Charlotte Jones, Alexis Smith, Rachel Scoggins, Lauren Newell, Courtney Newell, Bobby Polette, Samantha and Riley Standridge, Barett Wolff, Nelson Beville, Cooper Davis, Amir Mortazavi, Darren Woodson, Courtney Kerr, Kelly and Billy Phillips, Courtney Stensland, Rachael Reekie, Savannah and Blake Poston, Margot Poston, Kelle Knight, and Kaylynn Montgomery.
