The Halles: WHAT'S ON TAP T h e F a l l 2 0 2 2 Antiques & Design Show sees the f o u r t h i t e r a t i o n of the PaperCity and Round Top Publishers event space and design, art, fashion, and foodie Mecca take off, with its seven Halles, main pavilion, and two (new) tented spaces, all filled with unique purveyors and curated happenings. Through it all, The Halles keeps the vibe cool with its inaugural Presenting Sponsor: Big Ass Fans. Watch for Big Ass Fans' collection of designer- fave fans deployed throughout the main pavilion and individual halles, including the sleek models Haiku, es6, Essence, AirEye, and Cool- Space systems. Stepping up as an Underwriting Sponsor, JennAir unveils The Halles Food Lab by JennAir installed in The Halles' main pavilion. Watch for the state-of-the-art test kitchen's striking countertops, courtesy Thorntree, with design concept by noted Dallas designer Chad Dorsey. Great excitement swirls around The CATHERINE D. ANSPON REPORTS FROM THE FIELD. Halles Food Lab by JennAir's inaugural chef, pit master Matt Cummins. Andy Johnson of Crown Halles bar says, "Matt is a former Houstonian who has made his name in the past five years working in some of the top barbeque restaurants in the state, so he brings a unique outlook to food and how it's prepared. Matt has cooked at Underbelly, Helberg Barbecue, and, most recently, Voncille's with his open-fire concept. He brings a broad array of cooking experiences to our restaurant." Head to Halle 2 for Mill Collective's tribute to small-batch American makers o f f u r n i t u r e , l i g h t i n g , a n d collectible objects.
