J alisco-born Francisco Pinedo, whom everyone calls Cisco, is known for his Cisco Home furniture with American- m a d e q u a l i t y a n d detailed workmanship. Based in California, Cisco Home has two showrooms, in Culver City and Pasadena, and another in High Point. He made a move to Round Top two years ago opening Cisco Village on the antiques corridor at 1350 North Texas Highway 237. "My father began attending Round Top shows on buying trips over 15 years ago. He loves bringing vintage elements into our showrooms," says Maurishka Pinedo, Francisco's oldest daughter and Cisco Home's president. Cisco Village is now open year-round: Thursday through Saturday, 11 am to 3 pm; by appointment Sunday; daily from 10 am during show season, including party-central nights filled with live music, late-night shopping, tequila, and street tacos. The latest installment in the Pinedos' Round Top properties is a 12-acre retreat with breathtaking live oak trees, christened Oakbones, to welcome shoppers and vacationers in what Maurishka calls a modern cabin commune with a fabulous facility for chef dinners, wine tastings, and other events.
