W ith PaperCity's inaugural s p o n s o r s h i p o f t h e Philanthropy in Fashion Best Dressed luncheon, the tradition of honoring the city's stylish philanthropic leaders continued with $1 million raised for March of Dimes. Helming the fête at The Post Oak Hotel were chairs Kelley Lubanko, Stephanie Tsuru, and Kelli Weinzierl. The mood was jubilant as 650 guests, dressed to the nines, entered the ballroom, creating a colorful palette that pulsated with excitement over PaperCity's role, the Neiman Marcus fashion presentation, and the much-admired honorees. After all, this is the most important see-and-be-seen luncheon of the year. Weinzierl had the unique honor of co- chairing the luncheon as well as being recognized as one the 10 Best Dressed, Luncheon has a $1 Million Recharge Dressed Best PaperCity Philanthropy in Fashion By Shelby Hodge. Photography Priscilla Dickson and Michelle Watson. thus requiring a costume change — from Andrew Gn for her appearance at the podium to Etro for her walk in the runway spotlight. Fashion statements continued with all honorees: Zane Carruth in Oscar de la Renta, Julie Longoria Chen in Dior, Tatiana Massey in Simone Rocha, Duyen Nguyen in Aknvas, and Kathryn Smith in Akris. In a nod to the Neiman Marcus presentation of Pamella Roland and her Spring 2024 collection, four of the honorees stepped out in the designer's ensembles: Sneha Merchant, Kristina Somerville, Roslyn Bazzelle Mitchell, and Hall of Fame honoree Hallie Vanderhider. While media sponsorship changed in 2023, Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital continued as presenting sponsor of the event.
