W e still can't decide which was more illuminating: Suzanne Kasler's talk or the lights that twinkled above as she discussed her new book and pointed out her most recent lighting collaboration with Visual Comfort. Moderator Shannon Bowers of Milieu magazine kept the afternoon on cue, describing Kasler as a designer's designer and asking her what she herself collects. "Miniature Eiffel Tower souvenirs!" Kasler then signed her newest book, Suzanne Kasler: Edited Style (Rizzoli), in Visual Comfort's spacious new West Alabama showroom. Ashley Gilbreath is exactly what the design world needs: a fresh face with a true passion.
