CÔTES DU COEUR 2024 Mark Your Calendar for T his beloved philanthropic event unites winemakers and oenophiles, celebrity chefs, and foodies to celebrate the impact of the American Heart Association. Held at the Omni Dallas Hotel on Saturday, April 27, 2024, guests will enjoy an evening of gourmet fare and the largest wine auction in the Southwest. While Côtes du Coeur is a year- round celebration (other events leading up to the big night include Big Bottle Party, Reveal Reception, and Grand Tasting), the gala and wine-auction event is what merges community and company leaders with a unique collection of renowned wineries and chefs led by Richard Chamberlain, all in celebration of the Association's mission as a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. The gala has raised more than $55 million in mission advancements since it began 32 years ago. Each year, the celebration welcomes nearly 1,200 guests, more than 45 wineries, and eight celebrity chefs, making this a must-attend event for oenophiles. The 2024 event is co-chaired by Trisha and Rick Allen, dynamic leaders in the DFW business and philanthropic community. A new facet to this year is the Open Your Heart chairs, Kathleen and Scott Kirby. The Kirbys will share the story of their son, who suffered a stroke at the age of four due to a previously undetected heart defect and the efforts they undertook for a full recovery.
