S tark's newest collaboration with Missoni features the high-voltage zigzags and mesmerizing tonal stripes for which the legendary Italian fashion house is famous— along with other mind-bending patterns such as ombré effects. The collection includes nine stocked rug styles, including five customizable styles, plus Missoni's iconic chevron pattern in Stark Performance Acrylic. Need more coverage? Missoni X Stark also just introduced 10 styles of broadloom — or wall-to-wall — carpeting. Both rug and broadloom collections are hand-tufted by artisans using wool, silk, shimmering lurex, and other fibers. For custom options, choose from Missoni's palette of 100 colors. Stark was one of the first to import patterned, handmade carpets to America more than 85 years ago and is now run by a third generation of cousins, Ashley Stark Kenner and Chad Stark; the company's longtime collaboration with Missoni began in 2005.
