My date, Zoe Bonnette, and I made our way to the Sutherlands' gorgeous Preston Hollow home and through the expansive gardens to the tennis court, where the picture-perfect party was already in high gear. And as inveterate entertainers like Ann always say, what can go wrong, will go wrong. The lights went out on the tennis court, along with the electricity feeding the musician. Ann's team found a portable speaker and candles, and the party continued. "Always know where your backup tools are," she says.
