WILSON PARISH Raffiné at Rienzi Society Dinner Chairmen Tommy & Isla Reckling T his year's Rienzi Society Dinner marked the start of Gary Tinterow's reign as director of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Chairmen Rosslyn and Marshall Crawford and Isla and Tommy Reckling oversaw the 12th annual fête, where Society members traditionally select an antique for Rienzi's collection. This year's après-dinner choice: an exquisite mirror that seemed ready-made to grace the house museum's formal entrance. The night also showcased Rienzi's first-ever mounted exhibition: "English Taste: The Art of Dining in the Eighteenth Century," spearheaded by Rienzi director Katherine Howe and crafted by English food historian Ivan Day.
