The iconic designer of rustic furnishings, Jan Barboglio, held court in a space romantically dressed with hundreds of candles and countless pieces from her collection. Next door in the T Room, DJ Lucy Wrubel spun her mix and laid a smooch or two on Forty Five Ten GM Thom Faust. Beauty guru Edward Bess applied glosses and blushes from his namesake collection to countless lips and cheeks. The Woods jewelry designers Shawn Hecox and Samantha Hitchcock manned the bauble cases, while Gaia founder Paula Minnis showcased her benevolent pick-me-up gifts to guests Cindy and Howard Rachofsky, Danya Anderson, Neil Friske, and Hanh Merriman. Also on the party docket, the ever-poetic Jeanine Payer, the jewelry artisan who engraves her pieces with tiny, beautiful verses. Iconic fashion editor and author Hal Rubenstein who marked his sig on his new book 100 Unforgettable Dresses; the pixie-esque It-girl and vbeauté founder Julie Macklowe; and Kimberly McDonald, the gemcentric jewelry designer who debuted her geode-encrusted home decor collection that very evening. Forty Five Ten devotees and big McDonald fans, Piper Wyatt and Ashley Hunt made an early party appearance to catch a glimpse and finish up a bit of holiday shopping. Who else stepped out?
