Bowler- topped DJ Lucy Wrubel spun tracks and blasted tunes that spanned from Blondie to The Beatles and the Stones. The Calatrava Bridge beamed in the background, and the downtown skyline glowed, as beauties and blokes packed the penthouse to chat with Max. You see, Ms. Max hails from England, where she attended the London College of Fashion before she segued her fashion and luxury career into media. In from Houston, PaperCity's Monica Bailey Bickers, Kate Stukenberg, and Catherine Anspon, along with Dallas PC team led by Margaret Stafford and Ms. Max, greeted guests while waiters rocking bowlers worked the room, offering mini Yorkshire puddings with roast beef and horseradish, and mini cupcakes waving the Union Jack flag, devised by Lombardi's Catering. Another sussy for the evening: Ketel One Maxtinis; and let's just say that after a nip or three, the crowd got a bit cheeky.
