Orange Show Goes Green What: Architectural material collection for the Orange Show's Smither Park, underwritten by John Daugherty, Realtors. Where: Smither Park. Who: Park designer/architect Dan Phillips; John Daugherty's Jo Reid; artist Selven O'Keef Jarmon with his group of beaders from South Africa; Don Mafrige Jr.; Wayne Blosat; and Victor Juarez. PC Moment: Families and artisans alike gathered to support the creation of Smither Park, a new green space on a half-acre adjoining the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art. The park is named for its late patron, outsider art collector extraordinaire John H. Smither. Attendees donated broken china, ceramic tiles, seashells, kitchen utensils, costume jewelry, keys and more to create magnificent mosaics for the park.
