12 letter publisher ANNE LAHO A s we head into summer, our year at PaperCity is still going strong. Last month was all about the inaugural Texas Design Week Houston: five full days of back-to-back design events — 17 in total — that offered something for every design enthusiast. And, for a second time, PaperCity partnered with Direct Energy and the Give Brighter campaign, featuring the Luci Light. Five philanthropic Houston couples hosted the now-annual spring party at the new Bosscat. We recently hosted one of the most exquisite parties of the year, at the Harry Winston salon in River Oaks District. The illustrious diamond company, founded in 1932, brought in more than 20,000 roses in the prettiest shades of pink, lavender, and cream to create a garden-party- themed ladies' lunch, just in time for Mother's Day. We rounded out spring with a trip to New York City. PaperCity editor in chief Holly Moore and I made our way to New York for our biannual advertising meetings, which proved to be extremely successful. The feedback was resoundingly positive, and everyone continues to praise our new format, dynamic editorial, and beautiful fashion features. We love getting the exciting details of what's on the horizon for our chicest of clients — which we will of course keep to ourselves until the client is ready to share. We hope everyone has a restful summer, and we wish you the very best on your travels near and far.
