W hen Becca Cason Thrash conceived Liaisons au Louvre in 2008, it was at the bidding of Henri Loyrette, the then-director of the Louvre, who had attended fund-raisers chez Thrash in Houston in 2005 and 2007 for the American and International Friends of the Louvre. When he saw Thrash single-handedly raise $650,000 for the storied museum's coffers in just one weekday night and orchestrate a fashion show for Christian Lacroix Haute Couture … Well, he wanted more of that for his little museum. Three Liaisons and nearly a decade later, this year's dual-city extravaganzas — June 18 through 20 in Paris, June 22 and 23 in Venice — includes a grand itinerary in the City of Light topped off by an extraordinary night at the Louvre, as well as a masked ball in Venice at Scuola Grande della Misericor dia, alongside myriad satellite events spread out over nearly a week. But, back to Dallas … Mirador restaurant at Forty Five Ten on Main was the scene of this chic luncheon. When Forty Five Ten proprietor Brian Bolke decided t o attend this year's luminous international benefits, he wanted some Dallas pals to come along, too. The result was an intimate déjeuner on a beautiful spring day, where Thrash unfolded the magical itinerary. Packing their bags: Nancy Rogers, Brooke Davenport, Lisa Arpey, Ann Hobson, Wendy Payne, Cindy Rachofsky, Marguerite Hoffman, Natalie Chu, Tina Craig, Moll Anderson, Max Trowbridge, Filippo Tattoni-Marcozzi, Lynn McBee, and Rajan Patel. 32 TRIPPING AT MIRADOR Cindy Rachofsky, Brian Bolke Max Trowbridge Forty Five Ten's chic Mirador restaurant Lynn McBee Nancy Rogers, Natalie Chu Rajan Patel Brooke Davenport Tina Craig, Moll Anderson Marguerite Hoffman Filippo Tattoni-Marcozzi Brian Bolke Becca Cason Thrash
