A s we take our final lap of 2017, it's amazing to think how much PaperCity has accomplished in one year. The summer was a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of spring, but we are recharged and ready to press on. This fall (especially September) will be packed to the brim with exciting happenings. First and foremost, this issue is what we are most thrilled to share. With all the fashion and luxury advertisers, old and new, and the over-the-top and fabulous Net-A-Porter section running in the issue, it's obvious that September is the pinnacle for the fashion world. PaperCity will co-host events throughout the month, with Theory, The Galleria, and Net-A- Porter, to name a few. On Thursday, September 14, PaperCity will be in New York City, hosting a celebration of Texas Tradition and Design with The New Traditionalists showroom and esteemed Houston architects Curtis & Windham for the 2017 What's New What's Next event at New York Design Center. If anyone happens to be in New York at that time, please stop by for a margarita and say hello! We're also giving away a fabulous pair of Lucchese boots to a lucky NYC designer. See the details at nydc.com/event/whats-new-whats-next-2017. As always, we'll visit a few of our advertisers along the way. On the home front, PaperCity is thrilled to announce that Meredith Riddle Chastang has joined our sales team as senior account director, overseeing clients in the Texas market and nationally. Meredith joins us from Texas Monthly but was previously with PaperCity from 2004 to 2009, before leaving to work for CultureMap in its inception. We couldn't be more excited to welcome Meredith back. Welcome to the September issue, the fall, and everything it has in store. Monica Bailey Bickers Publisher monica@papercitymag.com 18 letter publisher ANNE LAHO
