77 NET-A-PORTER x PaperCity "FOR NEW DESIGNERS, THE CRUCIAL THING IS TO HAVE A STRONG POINT OF VIEW. IF THEY DON'T HAVE A DEFINED AESTHETIC THAT I CAN SUM UP IN THREE WORDS ... THEN I THINK THEY HAVE A BIT MORE WORK TO DO. KEEP IT FOCUSED AND TIGHT, AND DO SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T EXIST ANYWHERE ELSE." — Lisa Aiken, NET-A-PORTER Retail Fashion Director KOCHÉ K oché's French designer, Christelle Kocher, creates impeccably wrought cool-girl street wear. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, she built her design cred at fashion houses Bottega Veneta, Dries van Noten, Chloé, Sonia Rykiel, Martine Stibon, and Emporio Armani. In 2010, she became artistic director of Maison d'Art Lemarié, the Chanel-owned atelier that creates handmade flowers and feather details for couture collections. Koché is the ultimate mix of contemporary art and handcrafted embellishment, with collaborations between Kocher and the finest haute-couture French artisans — Lesage, Lemarié, Montex, Gossens. These extraordinary dresses, tanks and outerwear come to life with intricate feather, sequin, and embroidered details. Editor's Pick: The trapeze dress in a shade of look-at-me pink.
