T he occasion was dubbed Sizzling Summer Soirée, but the 300-plus young profes- sionals who poured into Tootsies on be- half of Dress for Success Houston were clearly thinking of cooler climes. Must- have fall fashion fi lled every corner of the swank em- porium, while models teased with looks from Parker and footwear by Schutz, and jewelry designer Lisa Freede added her special brand of shiny things to the mix. The annual event — organized by Women of Wardrobe, DFSH's next-generation group — was overseen by co-chairs Mary Patton, Bria Wall, and WOW president Lauren Granello. WOW co-founder and KHOU news anchor Mia Gradney shared the story of women helping women through DFSH's programming. Fueling the stylish fête were watering holes (Deep Eddy Vodka and Total Wine) and light bites complim ents of Oxbow 7, Snap Kitchen, Del Frisco's Grille, and more.
