T he Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets and Aggie liberators from World War II were honored with the Guardian of the Human Spirit Award at the Holocaust Museum Houston's annual luncheon. Seventy members of the corps were in attendance at the Hilton Americas- Houston, some participating in the flag presentation, others escorting Holocaust survivors to their tables. The Aggie band and Century Singers provided entertainment and Robert Gates, former Secretary of Defense and former A&M president, was interviewed by Porter S. Garner III, president and CEO of the A&M Association of Former Students.
