The merry bash also dou- bled as a special exhibition showcasing rare vintage and antique bijoux. While the champagne bubbled, display cases dazzled with Smith's own designs, including a fire opal torsade necklace with a hand-cast toggle closure, in addition to estate Cartier timepieces, and classic and im- pressive vintage creations from David Webb, Tiffany & Co., and L'Orée du Bois, alongside Art Deco and mid-century masterpieces. Top designers took over showrooms creating dreamy dining scenes ranging from cozy Christmas to jaw-dropping brilliance. The latter would be the creation by Travis DeZalia for Design House for which he employed Baccarat everything. Not so coincidentally, Baccarat North America president and CEO Jim Shreve jetted in for the two-day showcase.
