Three Houston charities raised a cup. The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary hosted its annual membership tea at the home of American antique collector Jeanie Kilroy. Linda McReynolds and daughter Merritt Marinelli chaired the afternoon, which welcomed more than 200 guests and featured serenades by the Salvation Army Harbor Light Choir and bites from City Kitchen. Tête-à-tête: Lynn Wyatt, Elise Joseph, Evelyn Howell, Mary Maxey, and Joanne King Herring. The 60th Annual Theta Charity Antiques Show's Royal Tea Gala Preview Party gave supporters a first look at the 17th- through 20th-century goodies lined up for the annual show at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Tea drinkers: Show chairman Jennifer Bowen, Preview Party chairs Maureen Manning and Allison Allison, Bobbie Nau, Tricia and David Dewhurst, Joella Morris, and Laura Herring. Finally, the University of St. Thomas Performing Arts Society toasted its members with a tea at the River Oaks home of Carolyn and Michael Mann. Chairs Mary Ann McKeithan and Barbara Van Postman honored Kelli Cohen Fein and Martin Fein, while raising more than $30,000 toward student scholarships.
