114 MARTINA MADNESS MOXIE Anne Lee Phillips goes Cabana crazy. Photography Daniel Ortiz. C abana magazine founder Martina Mondadori Sartogo's first visit to Texas was one for the books. The chic Italian modern-media mogul, all smiles at the maximalist design store Moxie, was here for day two of Texas Design Week Houston and an illustrated talk and signing of her first book, Cabana Anthology (Vendome Press). Moxie owners Dennis Brackeen, Linda Chan, and Jenna McPhail pulled out the stops in their usual glorious, grand fête style. Brackeen — who, according to Chan, decorates with reckless abandonment — cleverly had wallpaper fashioned from the luscious pages of Cabana Anthology to create a bohemian lair. Know that if Sartogo — who sells tabletop wares via the Cabana website — starts selling Cabana wallpaper, you saw it first at Moxie. at Martina Mondadori Sartogo Moxie's Jenna McPhail, Linda Chan, Dennis Brackeen Julie Koch, Bill Stubbs Brianna Mills, Erin Dorn, Sharon Graham Hutton Wilkinson in the audience London LeMay Becca Cason Thrash, Dennis Brackeen Candice Corley, Suzy Smith Lloyd Princeton, Jan Sebastian Valenzuela Madie Conn Julie Pratz, Barbara Davis Bruce & Oscar Banta-Guevara Layne Torsch Mary Evans Cravens Moxie's bohemian Cabana-inspired lair
