PHOTOGRAPHY JENNY ANTILL, PRISCILLA DICKSON AND JOHN COX. High Fashion and Hopes for Child Advocates This years Angels of Hope Luncheon was full of blessings. Chairmen Rosemary Schatzman and Phyllis Williams, along with 650 supporters, packed the Westin Galleria hotel ballroom to honor devoted Child Advocates volunteers Kimberly David and Dolly Dawson Thomas for their years of work for the foundation. Attention then turned to style with a runway show presented by Neiman Marcus featuring Brunello Cucinellis luxe Spring 2013 collection. Afterwards, Dr. Jun Wei-Behr told the story of her triumphant battle against child abuse during her teenage years, with her own advocate helping her family overcome the cycle and eventually reunite. A raffle of prizes, such as courtside seats at a Houston Rockets game, assured that more families will receive this healing help. At the end of the day, more than $350,000 was raised. Child champions: Neiman Marcus general manager Bob Devlin, Child Advocates CEO Sonya Galvan, Rebekah Johnson, Caroline Finkelstein, Lucinda Loya, and Stephanie Cockrell.
