104 Legacy in Bloom B ritish heritage design firm Morris & Co. has teamed with Williams Sonoma on a collection of tabletop and kitchenware, due out mid-September. Seven iconic patterns from the Morris & Co. archives adorn a range of utensils, crockery, and linens. William Morris — designer, poet, environmentalist — was a key figure in the Arts and Crafts Movement of the 19th century, and his firm, founded in 1861, produced fabrics, wallpapers, carpets, tiles, and books in patterns inspired by nature. The collection with Williams Sonoma features some of Morris' best- known designs, such as Bluebell, a bold floral based on the woodland flower and created in 1870; Marigold, a dense, delicate foliage pattern from 1875; and Pimpernel, a swirling, energetic design William Morris Pillivuyt Basketweave porcelain dinnerware and Golden Lily linens, $15 to $40.
