In Highland Park Village, Balmain recently opened; watch for our coverage of one of their fabulous opening dinners — bold shoulders as far as the eye could spy. Loewe makes its Texas premiere at HPV soon, located between Akris and Veronica Beard … Over at NorthPark Center, a beloved holiday tradition returns: The Trains at NorthPark starts its engines Saturday, November 11 (through January 5). For more than 35 years, this event has delighted Dallas families, all while benefiting R o n a l d M c D o n a l d House … In the West Village Shops, don't miss the Augustinus Bader pop-up (through early January). This leader in high-performance and efficacious skincare — which has a cult-like celebrity following — will be adjacent to Sephora with 1,000 square feet of retail and two treatment rooms … In downtown news, we were over the moon to hear that Mirador — one of our favorite lunch spots with a view, located on the top floor of Forty Five Ten — reopens this month, with chef Travis Wyatt (formerly at Mirador, then at Meridian with Junior Borges) at the helm. The reimagining was helmed by Swoon the Studio (the brilliant design team behind the refresh of The Adolphus and several Auberge properties). So far, we've only been teased by renderings, but we understand that the modern American restaurant will be anchored by a 12-by-15-foot skylight, under which trees and foliage will blossom alongside custom-made furnishings. We'll be there often after a marathon of retail therapy on the floors below, and you'll likely see us at the champagne tea they'll host every Saturday at 2 pm, as we gaze upon the action on downtown's Main Street … Finally, remember that time is running out to use your Partners Card. They raise crucial funds for The Family Place and its mission to support survivors of family violence. One hundred percent of each $75 card purchase directly supports the nonprofit; in turn, shoppers receive a 20 percent discount at 700+ participating retailers and a 10 percent discount at restaurants. The annual promotion ends Sunday, November 5.
