T h e luxury kitchen brand creates residential showstoppers in lavish finishes crafted with Michelin-level cooking in mind. From the artisan-made leather lining the drawers to the placement of gas burners and warming cabinets, each detail is customized within a fraction of an inch. Those endless options are now on view throughout the brand's fourth — and largest — showroom, which recently opened at The International on Turtle Creek in the Dallas Design District. At 3,800 square feet, the showroom reveals just how versatile L'Atelier kitchens can be, showcasing exquisite ranges in the brand's Le Classique, Le Traditionnel, and Le Contemporain styles. On one end of the showroom is a stainless-steel stunner that would be right at home in a New York City loft. Across the store, an opulent pearl-white kitchen is a French country dream, complete with Au Café coffee bar and wine fridge that blend in seamlessly with brass-trimmed cabinetry and a custom cooking island in a striking Pearl Night blue shade that blends both gas and induction cooking elements. Then there's Le Bar, sporting a purple-red high-polished lacquer and polished-brass trim with beverage center, brass sink, and the brand's new Bar Faucet collection. The once dormant French company, a heritage brand known for handcrafting some of the world's finest cooking ranges, was acquired and revived in 2019 by CEO Ricardo Moraes. And though Miami serves as L'Atelier's home base, the team has embraced their new Dallas presence with the inclusion of a custom pale green and brushed nickel brass outdoor cooking suite with a professional gas-powered lava-rock barbecue — a true Texan's dream. Caitlin Clark A spacious, light-drenched n e w M i l l e r K n o l l showroom has opened on McKinney Avenue — the first to incorporate both Herman Miller and Knoll brands. Encompassing 14,000 square feet, the showroom features two glass walls, one facing the tree-lined street and the other, a back courtyard. Greens, blues, and yellows punctuate the showroom's color palette, with a central pavilion that houses fabric and materials samples for customization. The refreshed design direction, led by senior VP of design Jonathan Olivares, debuted in April at Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan. Look for products from the MillerKnoll collective, including Knoll Textiles, Edelman, Maharam, Spinneybeck, DatesWeiser, FilzFelt, Geiger, HAY, Muuto, and NaughtOne.
