Success A Runway By Shelby Hodge. Photography Priscilla Dickson. The 2024 honorees: Lyndsey Zorich, Stephanie Tsuru, Heidi Smith, Stacey Lindseth, Dr. Sippi Khurana, Brigitte Kalai, Stephanie Fleck, Melissa Juneau, Carrie Brandsberg-Dahl T he swans turned out in their finest plumage for the PaperCity P h i l a n t h r o p y i n Fashion Best Dressed luncheon — for who would dare do anything less for the city's top see- and-be-seen event. The ballroom of The Post Oak Hotel was a stylish tableau of Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel, and Adam Lippes, the Neiman Marcus-spotlighted designer. Of special note on this benefit for March of Dimes was a salute to Houston's grand dame of fashion and philanthropy, Lynn Wyatt. The usually unflappable La Wyatt gave way to subtle tears as she received the Best Dressed Icon award and a standing ovation saluting her four decades of leading the city's altruist torch. In addition to her largesse, she elegantly dressed her way into the inaugural Houston Best Dressed class in 1982, was the first to enter the Best Dressed Hall of Fame, and has long graced the International Best Dressed Hall of Fame. Taking bows as 2024 Houston Hall of Fame honorees were Brigitte Kalai, Dr. Sippi Khurana, and Linda McReynolds. Also honored were Carrie Brandsberg-Dahl, Stephanie Fleck, Melissa Juneau, Stacey Lindseth, Heidi Smith, Stephanie Tsuru, and Lyndsey Zorich — all beautifully dressed. As storied Vogue editor Diana Vreeland noted, "It's not about the dress you wear but it's about the life you lead in the dress." Indeed, the 11 women honored certainly are well dressed, but more importantly they lead the charge in the city's philanthropic circles. With generous support from presenting sponsor Children's Memorial Hermann, the luncheon raised more than $1 million, a happy ending for luncheon chairs Jennifer Allison, Melissa Juneau, and Jordan Seff.
