ienzi, the MFAH's
stately Staubdesigned house
museum for European
decorative arts,
concocted one of its most
convivial events of the year
— an evening that took as its
motif the 18th-century tradition
of the punch party. Historically
inspired and contemporary
cocktails courtesy of Mongoose
versus Cobra had guests sipping
and socializing, while the
contemporary quartet AMP'D
serenaded couples taking in
Rienzi's terrific terraces.
