Sonneman recently collaborated with RH Modern on 11 of his most recognizable mid-century lighting designs from the '60s and '70s, reimagined in solid brass. The lineup includes the classic Orbiter floor lamp, which celebrates its 50th anniversary next year, along with his postmodern geometric Constructivist panel pendants, ribbon-like Cathedral chandeliers, minimalist Tubular task table and floor lamps, and kinetic Tandem Counterweight floor lamp. Sonneman began his lighting career with the legendary George Kovacs, pioneering contemporary lighting as an art form, and has lent his substantial creativity over the decades to Ralph Lauren Home, Nissan Motor Corp, Pratt School of Architecture, and Parsons School of Design. Museums around the world have exhibited his lighting, including the Museum of Modern Art and Cooper-Hewitt Museum. The Sonneman collection, $595 to $1,595, at RH Modern stores, rhmodern.com.
