There was much talk of the important historic pieces: President John F. Kennedy's Patek Philippe desk clock, on loan from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum; Joe DiMaggio's circa-1947 Ref. 130J chronograph; and James Ward Packard's circa-1927 Patek Philippe pocket watch. And, at seemingly every turn, there was quiet conversation about how to acquire a favorite A special edition timepiece depicting Yosemite from the Rare Handcrafts collection watch. All but the museum pieces were available for purchase inquiries, the response most often being: "It's very hard to get, but I can put you on the list." One watchmaker said it best, while demonstrating his craft to curious onlookers. "How's everyone liking the show?" he asked.
