10 letter publisher ANNE LAHO I t's hard to believe that 2017 is behind us. We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season, with time to relax with family and reflect on the past 12 months. I personally enjoyed being able to spend more time with my daughters over the holidays, before they went back to school and we all rejoined the hustle and bustle of everyday life. After a much-needed family vaca- tion to the mountains, our family is refreshed and ready to go. The highlight of our January issue is always the Spring Social Calendar, and this year is no exception. The calendar is a comprehen- sive list of the major events and galas this spring. Hold on to it, as it will become your go-to guide for your social schedule this season. Also in this issue, we are thrilled to feature some of the most glamorous and festive events of the year's end, sponsored exclusively by PaperCity. Of the many special evenings that the magazine co-hosted, my personal favorite was our private dinner for 40 guests at La Table's Château with De Beers Diamond Jewellers, where the 129-year old jeweler brought in from London exquisite pieces from the High Jewellery collection. And, of course, the talk of the town in early December was the over-the-top 30th anniversary celebration of The Menil Collection, commemorated by the Luminous ball. As we look forward to 2018, we're excited about the possibilities that the year will bring and welcome new opportunities on the horizon. Happy New Year from all of us at PaperCity magazine.
