I t was a bucolic doubleheader, and the destination was Round Top when The Compound toasted fall's Antique Show and PaperCity's special Round Top section release. Under a starry sky, nearly 200 turned out to celebrate antiquing in this beautiful Texas hamlet of 90. The al fresco courtyard of The Compound, one of Round Top's top destinations during the fair, served as the perfect venue, and The Compound's owner, Mark Massey, was the perfect host. Armandos made a splash with free-flowing 'ritas and its famous taco truck, and jazz mandolinist Paul Glasse and his band contributed tunes.
