It's celebrating its 100th anniversary this month, and we think that's pretty special. We take pride in our level of involvement through the years, volunteering in the neighborhood's local schools and churches and serving as members of Preservation Park Cities. We also sponsor various events at the Park Cities elementary schools, where our grandchildren attend, and host an annual Fourth of July Party on Park Cities parade route for friends and clients. Not only is being involved in our community meaningful, but it has kept us knowledgeable about market trends and latest home sales, which benefits our clients. What are some of your favorite Park Cities businesses and local spots? PH: That's hard to narrow down. We asked our Team for their ideas … Grabbing a to- go cup at LDU Coffee or a treat at Mustang Donuts, catching up with friends over lunch at Zest Cafe, or enjoying a date night at Il Bracco. We also love Not Just Soccer for last-minute sports needs and Preston Road Pharmacy for necessities and gifts. It's hard not to mention the beauty of the Park Cities, too. We love to beat the summer temperatures at the UP Swim Center and enjoy time in all our great parks. The Park Cities is truly where we live, work and play. What's the market like in the Park Cities right now? PH: The current market has made it more important than ever to partner with a veteran realtor, like the Pinkston- Harris team. Inventory continues to be low, while demand has only grown. Off- market sales make up a large percentage of the transactions, as the number of buyers increase.
