OBSESSIONS. DECORATION. SALIENT FACTS. I n Highland Park Village, the biggest news is the recent opening of Miu Miu. The highly coveted brand's only Texas boutique is in the 3,800-square-foot space between Moncler and Fendi (in the former home of Dior, which has moved to the former Ralph Lauren location). Behind the sprawling glass panels and sculpted white façade is a soothing interior with references to Miu Miu's signature blue. You'll find Miu Miu's full line, including ready-to-wear, footwear, handbags, jewelry, and accessories. For the opening, on view is the Holiday 2025 collection with moccasins, loafers, slippers, ballet flats, ultra-flat sneakers, and pointed- toe, grosgrain trimmed pumps. Handbags that have become the desire of every It-Girl from NYC to L.A. (and, of course, Dallas) include the Wander, Arcadie, Pocket, Beau, Solitaire, and the backpack. 'T is the Season: If you're getting i n y o u r F i t b i t s t e p s , c o n s i d e r m e a n d e r i n g through Highland Park Village's Christmas Lights Celebration and Shopping Stroll Wednesday, December 10, with its twinkly display of more than 1.5 million lights, Christmas carolers, face painting and twisty balloon — and, of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus. Take it all in while tackling your gifting list. On Saturday and Sunday, December 13 and 14, continue strolling, but this time through Knox Street's Holiday Celebration. If you haven't been to this bustling neighborhood in a while, it has some fabulous shops and restaurants and during the celebration you'll find an experiential Art on Knox pop-up gallery, complimentary pet photos with Santa Paws, and a flower market with holiday wreaths. In addition to the fabulous festive programming that they're known for, NorthPark Center has Bark + Build Pet Houses (through December 21). Architects, contractors, and design teams create one-of-a-kind dog houses, cat condos, and more to benefit the SPCA of Texas. And if you want the biggest tree, head to Galleria Dallas to see their 95-foot-tall Christmas spectacle, the tallest indoor holiday tree in the United States. It takes a team of 50 elves to set it up over five days and it's topped by a 100-pound, 10-foot LED star. Social: The fall months left us breathless, but we're nearing the finish line of the 2025 social swirl. The one date that should have been on your schedule for months is the grande dame of the season, Crystal Charity Ball on Saturday, December 6. Hopefully you've worked in a fitting with Adam Lippes (we're fortunate he comes through Dallas quite often) for a delish long frock because it's old school, and cocktail attire will be regarded with hushed disdain. Après CCB, our Smythson date books are filled with fabulous private parties sprinkled throughout the well- appointed homes of Highland Park and Preston Hollow. Billy Fong F o r t y F i v e Ten plans to open their Fort Worth outpost sometime this month. In the meantime, over at the bastion of haute design on Main Street in Dallas, come meet Bibi van der Velden and her gorgeous trinkets Tuesday and Wednesday, December 2 and 3. I'm not sure if she'll have it with her, but I'm intrigued by her alligator wrap necklace (from $49,400). It would be perfect to accent your décolleté for that New Year's Eve party at Park House. Hopefully you made it to Forty Five Ten last month and met my fashion icon, Thom B r o w n e , w h o was in town for a made-to-measure event and a private dinner with a select group of Dallas' most fashionable. Finally, head to one of our favorite spots for perfect gifts — Grange Hall. This month, stop by for trunk shows and appearances from Lydia Courteille, Moksh, Ramstad/Luxurious Problems, and Amen. Courteille, a jewelry antiquarian at heart, has created 30 collections exploring flora and fauna, mysterious symbols, and archaeology over the last decade. She's bringing pieces brought from her lair on rue Saint Honore, Wednesday through Friday, December 3 through 5. Cole Ramstad, the force behind L.A.-based Ramstad, has been the chic smoker's brand for luxury cannabis home decor — yes, clever and unique smoking accessories in the form of ashtrays, lighters, and stash boxes that are so modern-day Bauhaus will be yours for the taking Thursday and Friday, December 11 and 12. Billy Fong Retail Reconnaissance Buzz From the Miu Miu Spriing 2026 collection. 28
