A throng of influencers gathered at Tootsies to cap the 8th Annual Meeting of Texas Women for the Arts. Honorary chair Tricia Dewhurst and program chair Molly Hipp Hubbard presided over the brunch gathering (bookended by museum and collection tours) that also gave back, with Tootsies contributing 10 percent of sales to the cultural cause. In the crowd: designer Cornelia Guest, in from NYC, to make a special PA; Ginni Mithoff, who opened up her collection to the group; Kelli Blanton; TWA's Jennifer Ransom Rice; and Mary Stanton Smith. Over in the Heights, performing artist and painter Jumper Maybach (aka Ben Workman) tossed a bash and red-carpet opening at Heights Art Studios with painter/actor Pepe Serna of Scarface fame.
