Linden Wilson The Great OUTDOORS MAD ABOUT Matthew F ashion designer Matthew Williamson — Britain's modern master of prints — has launched his first U.S. home collection with CB2 (he has fabric and wallpaper collections with UK- based Osborne & Little). Controlled bohemia is how the interior design- obsessed Williamson describes the 33-piece collaboration that includes lighting, accessories, rugs, pillows, and furniture. "Everything I've designed is intended not to match perfectly but to sit together in harmony," he says. Kaleidoscopic jewel tones bring life to the Avec apartment sofa with brass legs and the Mother Amazon dining chair. Aligning with the release of DreamWorks' Trolls, Brian Gibb's The Public Trust online store stocks works by Russian sculptor and Instagram sensation Daria Lapto; her hand-stitched creatures (trolls, dragons, cats, and surreal fairy maidens) are both adorable and feral — and infinitely collectible (trustthepublic. com). Installation Lady: A matriarch of the Dallas art scene, Frances Bagley, solos at Kirk Hopper Fine Art. Dallas Museum of Art-exhibited Bagley's practice interweaves theater, painting, sculpture, and installation. Here, she presents an eerie maze-like structure populated by melting figures (like the casts of Pompeii's victims), alongside a tiny house teetering on a hill. What does it all portend? The enigma is the message of this modern-day surrealist in "The Lay of the Land" (through December 22).
