letter publisher STEVEN VISNEAU, SISTERBROTHER MGMT 10 W e're in full swing, with PaperCity partnerships setting a spirited pace to the new year. First up was a January event with Park Place Porsche to unveil the 2017 Porsche Panamera, re-engineered for the first time since the sedan sports car made its debut seven years ago. Nearly 400 guests gathered in the Design District to catch a stunning first look, with music by DJ Steffi Burns and a fashion presentation by Roberto Cavalli. Event photos are online now at papercitymag.com and will land on these pages next month. Rounding out last month was a night of fashion and art with luxury consignment boutique To Be Continued. Hosts Maxine Trowbridge, Joyce Goss, Hannah Fagadau, Mackenzie Moussa, and our own social editor Jane Rozelle gathered with guests for cocktails and shopping to benefit Dallas Contemporary — the non-collecting art museum we are proud to support as our annual partner. In this issue, you'll find coverage on another important event: our collaboration with Net-A-Porter to launch Tina Craig's new handbag line, Tina Craig for Gianfranco Lotti. Dallas editor in chief Christina Geyer and the fashionable Christen Wilson hosted a luncheon at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek for an intimate group of ladies to admire the bags firsthand. During the luncheon, Craig shared that of all places in the world to host the launch, she knew it had to be at home in Dallas, where those in the room had supported her from the beginning. Speaking of beginnings and longstanding relationships: In this issue we look back at a 2003 PaperCity and Neiman Marcus party held at the Rosewood Mansion with then-21-year-old fashion designer designer Zac Posen. The relationship between Posen and the Mansion has certainly deepened since his first visit to the storied hotel, with the exclusive announcement in this issue that Posen will serve as a Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek curator, detailed on page 26. It's an exciting beginning to what's sure to be an eventful year. Briana Buxbaum Dallas Publisher briana@papercitymag.com
