O ur afternoons are quite busy during social sea- son, as PaperCity often pairs with some of the city's most loved nonprofits — and the devoted ladies that attend them. First, chair Mary Clare Finney hosted country-music heavyweight Jimmy Wayne at The Salvation Army's Doing the Most Good Luncheon, where Wayne's heartfelt speech recalled the impact the organization had on his upbringing. Then it was off to the 10th annual Dallas On the Move Luncheon, where Dallas Stars' team captain Jamie Benn was honored with the Person on the Move Award. Next up, The Family Place honored former Dallas Police Chief David Brown and Dallas Cowboys VP Charlotte Jones Anderson with the Texas Trailblazer Award. Topping things off was the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas Women of Distinction Luncheon, where CEO and co-founder of FEED Projects, Lauren Bush Lauren shared her dreams and goals of tack- ling the fight against world hunger.
