Same-minded guests filled the ballroom of The Post Oak Hotel. Soup to nuts, it was an elegant evening, with French-themed decor and chanteuse dinner music saluting the Alley's production of Picasso at the Lapin Agile. La Wyatt was joined at her table by husband Oscar Wyatt; son Trey Wyatt and his wife Mervin, in from their home base in Aruba; and son Steve Wyatt, escorting his steady, Joyce Echols. Felicitations to chairmen Sarah Morgan and Oscar Brown, who led the soirée to proceeds of $1.2 million.
