Square Flower Tulipiere and the Pedestal Pyramid Tulipiere. she surprised me by saying, "No. Too much work!") A modest studio set up in a corner of the barn is where everything comes together. Using only natural light, Palmer expertly photographs her highly coveted vessels overflowing with romantically lavish arrangements of home-grown flowers. Each still life is perched on a rotating array of unadorned surfaces in front of one of a dozen hand-painted canvas backdrops that set her compositions off to perfection. Her new book, slated for a summer 2025 release, will focus on her floral arranging philosophy and vast garden wisdom — a volume eagerly awaited by Palmer's dedicated collectors and fans. Each February, Palmer has a trunk show at KRB on Manhattan's Upper East Side; the 2025 dates are February 5, 6, and 7. You'll find her handmade pieces and Cirrus collection at March, San Francisco; 100 Main in Falls Village, Connecticut; Gardenheir, Upstate New York; Nickey Kehoe, Los Angeles; and online at francespalmerpottery.com.
