A gaggle of gorgeous gals gathered at the Fady Wortham Theater Armanious Cynthia Center for Passion Petrello for Fashion's annual luncheon, where Paris-based designer Andrew Gn, who was brought to Houston by Tootsies, showed his sumptuous embroidered, furr-ed and embellished Fall 2012 collection. Chairmen Rosemarie Johnson and Melissa Mithoff, along with cochairmen Paula Fyhr and Liz Glanville, raised $200,000 for the Design Society at Houston Community College. The luncheon also celebrated individuals who brighten Houston domains of design, including Kay King, who has helped those in the lifestyle arts and design Lindley fields find their way at HCC for 30 Arnoldy years, and cutting-edge clotheshorse Becca Cason Thrash, who's known for her tireless support of extraordinary causes in imaginative and pioneering ways. Prior to the lunch and fashion show, guests gained fashion insight into Gn through an interview conducted by style scribe Clifford Pugh. PHOTOGRAPHY PHYLLIS HAND. o celebrate American icon Tiffany & Co.'s 175 years in business, PaperCity, along with Tiffany store director Mike McClure, hosted a sparkling soirĂ©e. This was more than a birthday bash, however, the evening also launched Tiffany's new Rubedo Metal which debuts in the new Tiffany 1837 Collection in honor of the 175th anniversary. With bites from CordĂșa Catering, chilled champagne at the ready and birthday wishes aplenty, it was a night that showed its metal.
