I chaired last year, and I know this year's chairs Bobby and Phoebe Tudor will plan an amazing night. On My Radar: I love Cartier's Juste un Clou collection. Houston Hot Spot: Memorial Park playground with Conrad when the weather is nice. At night, Pappas Steakhouse. They have the best wine list in Houston. Valued Possession: An amazing vivid yellow diamond ring with Cartier's two half-moon white diamond baguettes that my husband Juste un Clou bracelet gave me when we welcomed Conrad into our family. Linens: Restoration Hardware. Magazines: Vogue and InStyle in print; Elle and Marie Claire on the iPad. Best Blog: Style.com; Spilledmilkstyle.com. Stationery: Crane's. Daily Inspiration: Nature. Favorite Fashion Film: Breakfast at Tiffany's. China Pattern: Pickard's "Washington" Attend three runway shows anywhere in world. The designers are: Oscar de la Renta in New York; Chanel and Valentino in Paris. Milestone: I'm looking forward to the Menil's 25th Anniversary Gala Friday, November 30. And curator Toby Kamps' "Silence" exhibition has just wonderful things in it. There's also a Philip Glass concert associated with the Menil 25th [Sunday, December 2], where I'll be. Collect: Will Henry, who works as the preparator at Inman Gallery. I'm very interested in his work. His gouaches have a sense of mystery. Some of them show the Marfa lights. His work is exceptional. Imbibe: A classic gin martini. Mother's milk. Dine: Seth Siegel-Gardner's new restaurants, The Pass and Provisions, in the old space formerly occupied by Gravitas. Excursion: I'm really pushing Crystal Bridges [Museum of American Art]. I've been, and it's glorious. In the Ozark country [Bentonville, Arkansas], on a bridge by the Crystal Springs. Fly to Tulsa, then it's a pleasant two-hour drive. I'm taken with their Hudson Valley things. Architecture: A good addition to the Museum District is the new Asia Society. I love the building. It's very special. The water garden on the second floor, the row of galleries … What handsome spaces. My brother has got me on this app Evernote, where we share designs, ideas, photos that all serve as inspiration. Art: Picasso. I'm inspired by his work for the new store in Dallas. Fall Fashion: The three things I covet for fall are lightweight plaid flannel suits, Armstrong & Wilson pocket squares and Ferragamo loafers — no socks. Day Dressing: I wear suits to the office every day. Naturally, all of my suits and shirts are custom-made from Q Custom Clothier. After Dark: My go-to jeans are Diesel, usually paired with a white V-neck tee or a slim-fit Rye 51 button-down; the Dean buttondown style is my favorite cut. Main Event: This month, I'm looking forward to the Dallas reopening of the newly remodeled Q Custom Clothier flagship, plus Dallas' first Rye 51. Cocktail: Bloody Mary.
