After 10 weeks and a record-breaking $583,000 raised, Brian Ross and Verr Soltes were named the winners for the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter, surpassing 18 other local hopefuls. More than 450 guests showed their support to the candidates and the cause while enjoying cocktails, dinner and a silent auction. LLS's Boy and Girl of the Year, blood cancer survivors Noah Bratsch and Chloe Rodriguez, were on hand to witness all the donations being made in their honor.
