64 THIS JUST IN ART + DECORATION T his summer, Austin-based James showroom opens a 1,100-square-foot Dallas location within Codarus, which will debut its new Dallas Design District showroom at the same time. Founded by interior designers Hunter and Meredith Ellis, the two-year-old James brand offers fabrics, wallpapers, lighting, carpets, art, and accessories from Sister Parish, Kathryn Ireland, Bunny Williams Home, and Rebecca Atwood … The Dallas Design District is also home to the new Janus et Cie showroom, an airy space with limestone floors and interactive wall that encourages 3-D fabric exploration. Anchored on Oak Lawn Avenue and I-35, Janus et Cie stocks the brand's collections of fine indoor and outdoor furniture, fabrics, and accessories … Room & Board, the Minneapolis-based company famous for its sleek, American-made furniture, lighting, rugs, and accessories, has announced plans for a December opening in the former Nest and Design Within Reach spaces on McKinney Avenue.
