LISA STEWART A Most Modern Movie Night for amfAR and DMA Robbie & Nancy Briggs, Frank Aldridge T he clever TWO x TWO party planners are masters of reinvention. Take, for example, the Movie Night party benefitting amfAR and the Dallas Museum of Art, held just days before the TWO x TWO Gala. Hosts Cindy and Howard Rachofsky, TWO x TWO director Melissa Meeks, DMA curator Jeffrey Grove and New York gallerist Simon Preston staged the event in the backyard of the Rachofsky House — a popcorn machine, candy bar and a projector screen reeling the cinematic works of video-projection artist John Gerrard were all on hand. Without fail, the social contingent turned out for this artful night at the movies: 2011 TWO x TWO co-chair Gary Tigges, Amy and Vernon Faulconer, Jenny and John Kirtland, Wynne and Perry Moore, Robert Wiley and Becky Niederstadt.
