is in Colorado Springs now. I love a long hike in the Garden of the Gods and some light shopping. The mountains are everything to me. Typically, between time with family, the beautiful weather, the amazing food, and views, I come back feeling completely ready for city life again. Dream reservations. I'm dying to get reservations to the ice cream museum in Miami and the Louis Vuitton permanent James Turrell exhibit in Vegas. I went to both last summer but totally missed the boat on reservations, so this summer, I'll be much more prepared. I'll make my rounds between L.A., Vegas, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta, and Colorado. I end up seeing some really amazing things that I never even planned on, so I learn how to navigate the city more with each trip. In your suitcase. Planned pilgrimage. I'll spend a week in L.A. in the fall to scout new shows at the Culver City galleries and all the amazing institutions like MOCA, CAAM, LACMA, and more. Design notes. The KKW eye shadow pallet that just came out with the cobalt-blue shade called Libra has inspired me. I will be looking for deep blue accents all summer. Garden to-do. An herb garden! I'm through kicking myself every time I buy those sad small packages of herbs at the store. I had a really nice potted one but lost it all during a move and let my green thumb go gray. This summer, I'm definitely back at it! Binge-worthy. I seriously love the HBO series Insecure and Girls. I feel so much better about being a 20-something entrepreneur in the city still figuring a lot of stuff out. KATIE GIBBS
