Erin: The Amagansett dress is a favorite to wear for wandering around town and straight to dinner, and the Jaipur makes a statement. Our new short is simple, but we worked hard to make it super flattering, and I already wear a pair most days. Katie: I'm pairing my Mirth with R.T.Co. clear sunglasses I just bought in Zurich and A Détacher Pipit slides that are on my wish list. Souvenirs. Erin: Vintage, vintage everywhere we go. We brought back antique needlepoint Indian men's sashes (with sword holders at the end) from India and hand-carved giant wooden spoons. Planned pilgrimage. Erin: Every summer, I meet my best friend from high school at Kripalu in the Berkshires. I look forward to it the most. It's a weekend full of yoga, meditation, clean eating, and no alcohol. I come back feeling like a new person. Design notes. Erin: I'm finishing a remodel on a mid- century house, so I've been knee-deep in design. Laura Mitchell Dalton turned me on to plaster — we're doing all-plaster bathrooms and a fireplace — and I'm obsessed with the clean look of it. Wardrobe updates. Katie: Circle bags by Jerome Dreyfuss, acrylic earrings by Rachel Comey, or Lizzie Fortunato cuffs. 29 Where you go for inspiration, recharging. K atie: India, of course! The interactions, the smells, the colors, the people — it's all such a departure from life as we know it; it gives us the energy and refresh we need for the year, not to mention design inspiration for the coming seasons. We love 47 Jobner Bagh, the breezy, whitewashed guesthouse in Jaipur where we stay. Our room overlooks rose-filled gardens with antique rope beds and pillows — it's heaven. It's owned by a Milanese/Indian jewelry dealer who keeps us entertained, running around in all white and chatting up the resident parrot. They even pour bottled water into antique crystal decanters for a nicer atmosphere. Every detail is perfection. We stayed at the Lake Palace in Udaipur last month, an ancient palace-turned- hotel floating in the middle of a gorgeous lake — a splurge, but a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Dream reservations. Erin: We'll be in New York in June for a pop-up at FEED in Brooklyn. Conveniently, there's a new Seamore's in DUMBO — the restaurant where's it's always summer. When we're out east, we make sure to spend a lazy afternoon drinking Summer in a Bottle Rosé on the terrace at Wölffer Estate, followed by a drive out to laid-back Montauk for either a beer at dive-y The Montauket or dinner overlooking the water at The Crow's Nest. GOOP's pop-up in Amagansett never disappoints, and we're excited for pieces from our summer collection to be sold on GOOP in June. Katie: I'm headed to Portugal during shoulder season in September to avoid the tourists. I love staying in Lisbon at Baixa House, but Santa Clara 1728 is opening this year — the new hotel from the group behind Casa na Areia — and I can't wait to try it. The design is understated and clean, a simplicity I can get behind for a relaxing trip. Then we'll unplug in the Algarve at this farmhouse near the sea. In your suitcase. Erin: Mirth! What else? We've now expanded into a full line of resort wear that keeps you cool, packs well, and mixes and matches for an easy vacation wardrobe.
