B iannually, PaperCity taps a venue to fête dealers and shoppers during the spring and fall an- tiques shows in Round Top and environs. This year's spring edition galloped to Fayetteville, where newly minted innkeepers Joan and Jerry Herring and Mary and Evan Quiros hosted the bash at the Grand Fayette Hotel, which the two couples purchased a year ago. The updated 1900 landmark once served as the town's mercantile hub The Herrings and the Quiros pulled out all the stops, beginning with the culinary and wine prowess of chefs Kathy and George Valtasaros, who preside over the Grand Fayette's wildly popular Wine Bar restaurant. Food stations showcased their signature mac and cheese, chicken pot pie, Tuscan meatballs, and chopped caesar salad — alongside passed trays of flatbreads and topped off by heavenly bourbon bread pudding and Texas tiramisu, all paired with flights of wine.
