I n response to the reopening of The Menil Collection, Houston's bastion of Surrealism and Dada, as well as this month's exhibition of Jean Arp, the founding father of Dada, at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, we take it up a notch, and embrace the tenets of Dadaism — a urinal exhibited in a museum (Duchamp, 1917), the Mona Lisa with a mustache (Duchamp, 1919), and egg beater as a woman (Man Ray, 1920).
