F or the eighth annual Raising the Barre dinner, Houston Ballet stars traded their tutus and tights for aprons as they joined four chefs in preparing dinner for 160 hungry balletomanes. Taking the helm at Artisans Restaurant in Midtown was executive chef/ owner Jacques Fox, who partnered with ballet soloist Hayden Stark to whip up Artisans Tournedos H Stark, the steak and seafood entree. Joining forces for the appetizers were Underbelly culinary director Nick Fine with soloist Mónica Gómez and Uchi chef de cuisine Chris Davies with soloist Harper Watters. For dessert, Fluff Bake Bar owner and pastry chef Rebecca Masson teamed with soloist Tyler Donatelli in preparing a key lime pie. Chaired by Elizabeth and Charlie Leykum and Elisa and Cris Pye, the feast honored Kristy Bradshaw and Lindsey Brown.
