letter publisher ANNE LAHO 20 I t's always bittersweet when summer comes to a close, and the summer of 2018 was one for the books. The past three months were the perfect combination of quality time with friends and family, both at home and away, and a bustling work schedule as we traveled to New York City; welcomed our new Dallas Publisher, Hillery Williams Stack, who moved to Dallas from NYC; and geared up for the exciting fall ahead of us at PaperCity magazine. September marks the 20th anniversary of PaperCity Dallas. Our Dallas office opened four years after the Houston headquarters in 1998, and it's hard to believe that I personally have been at the magazine for 14 years. I, along with many of my colleagues in both Houston and Dallas, feel a deep connection to the magazine and the sense of family that it brings. We will definitely be celebrating all month with a myriad of parties and dinners hosted by our wonderful partners that have supported us along the way. The September issue is always one of the best issues of the year, and this one features coverage from some of the most beautiful spring parties, hosted by Harry Winston, Roberto Cavalli, and De Beers, to name a few. You will also find the annual Fall Social Calendar inside, to keep you up-to-date on all the must-attend parties of the season. Welcome to fall! Monica Bailey Bickers Publisher monica@papercitymag.com
